Meet Bo Nix’s wife Izzy – the former cheerleader seeking ‘to know Christ and make Him known’

As Bo Nix has risen to become one of the top college quarterbacks in the nation, wife Izzy has been a constant source of support and encouragement.

More than just a supportive partner; she is a woman of deep faith, whose unwavering Christian beliefs have become an integral part of her journey alongside her husband.

Izzy’s social media presence reflects her strong commitment to her faith, with frequent posts and references to her relationship with God.

In this article, we look into how Izzy’s Christian faith has not only shaped her own path but also the way she supports and uplifts her husband, Bo.

Inside Bo and Izzy Nix’s wedding

Bo and Izzy got engaged while they were both at Auburn University.

Bo Nix was the quarterback for the Auburn Tigers, while Izzy was a cheerleader for the team.

In July 2022, the couple got married in Birmingham, Alabama with the ceremony taking place at the Church of the Highlands.

Given the firm Christian faith of both Bo and Izzy, the wedding was a beautifully biblical dedication of their relationship to God.

The leader of their wedding ceremony opened the service with a reminder of the Christian meaning of marriage.

He proclaimed: “Bo and Izzy, in a day where the world pushes you towards selfishness and making this day all about you, you’ve chosen to make this day about Jesus.

“Before either of you arrived at this point, both of you allowed God to do a work in your lives through the saving grace of his son Jesus.

“It was the greatest act of unselfishness the world has ever seen.”

Many of Bo’s family and friends spoke at the wedding and talked of the couple’s unwavering dedication to their faith.

Izzy’s friend said: “Izzy is incredibly wise beyond her age.

“The holy spirit is so evidently within her and moves within her in such powerful ways.

“She is constantly pointing me and all others around her to Christ.”

Bo and Izzy Nix’s goal as a married couple

In an interview with CBN about his Christian faith, Bo Nix spoke very openly about wanting to use his marriage as a springboard to tell others about Jesus.

Bo revealed: “Our goal as a married couple, we just want to influence other people and influence people with our walk.

“As far as ministry goes, if Izzy and I are just able to continue what we love doing with the people we love, making an impact, pointing people to what’s biblical and what’s right and the truth of the Lord, then I’d say we’re having success whatever it looks like”.
